The Virtues of Breastfeeding Husband According to Islam

The Virtues of Breastfeeding Husband According to Islam ~ Hi readers! Maybe we already know the explanation of the law of husband breastfeeding in Islam. In this article, I will not explain that. But I will explain one thing that is rarely understood by the majority of Muslims about it, that breastfeeding your husband is one of the things that is considered very good in Islam. Why is that?

If we read more Islamic literature, then we will find an explanation that if a Muslim woman breastfeeds her husband, then that could be one of the reasons for her to going to heaven. So, if you are a Muslim woman who has a husband, or if you are a Muslim who has a wife, then this article is very good for you. I advise you to read this article to the end!

In discussing the virtues of breastfeeding husband, there are two general things that I will explain to you:

  1. Hadith about the virtues of breastfeeding husband.
  2. Four virtues of breastfeeding a husband according to Islam.

Hadith About the Virtues of Breastfeeding Husband

To be honest, if we read books on hadith, then we will not find that there are hadiths that specifically explain the virtues of breastfeeding a husband, at least that is what I know. But we can find an understanding of the virtues of breastfeeding a husband in the hadiths about a wife’s obligation to obey her husband.

I make the hadiths about a wife’s obligation to obey her husband as the basis of the argument for understanding the virtues of breastfeeding a husband because, in general, it (breastfeeding husband) is because a husband asks for it. In Islam, a wife must obey her husband if her husband wants her to do something that does not violate the rules of Islam. One of the things that do not violate Islamic rules is breastfeeding your husband.

In fact, there are many hadiths that explain the obligation of a wife to be obedient to her husband (we can also understand that as a hadith about the virtues of breastfeeding husband). But the popular hadiths are as follows:

From Abdullah ibn Abi Aufa, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “If I order someone to make her prostrate to other than Allah, then I will definitely tell women to make her prostrate to her husband. By God whose soul Muhammad is in His power, a woman does not fulfill Allah’s rights (performs her obligations to Allah) until she fulfills her husband’s rights (performs her obligations to him), even if her husband asks herself (to have husband-wife relations) when he is on the back of the camel, then she may not refuse it.”

From Abdurrahman bin Auf radliyallahu anhu, he said, “The Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “If a man takes his wife to bed, then she refuses, then the man is angry until one night, then the angels will curse her until morning.”

Asked the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, “Who is a good woman?” She replied, “She is a woman who makes her husband happy if he sees her, she obeys her husband if her husband orders her, she does not care about herself and her property with something that is disliked by her husband.”

From Abdurrahman bin Auf, he said, “The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said,” If a woman prays five times (obligatory prayer), she fasts in the month of Ramadan, she takes care of her vital organs (she did not commit Zina), and she obeyed her husband, so she was told, “Enter you into Heaven from whatever door you want.”
