Things That Require Muslim to Bath According to Islam ~ Hi all readers! In this article, I will explain things that require and encourage someone to take a bath. So, actually not all bathing activities are mandatory and permissible, but there are also those that are recommended. Mandatory bathing is a bath which if not done, as a result, a person may not do some activities. Bathing that is permissible is a bath that may or may not be carried out. As for baths that are recommended are baths that are better done.

As usual, before I explain things that require Muslim to bath according to Islam, I will quote the hadith that related to our discussion. Pay attention!

Hadith About Things That Require Muslim to Bath According to Islam

The hadith about things that require Muslim to bath that I mean is as follows:

From Aisha radliyallaahu anha, she said, “The Prophet (Muhammad) sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam bathed from four things; jinabah, Friday, ihtijam, and bathing the died.” The hadith is narrated by Abu Daud.

There are several things related to the hadith above that we need to know;

One; Hadiths above explain, that janabah (sex and sperm discharge) requires someone to take a bath.

Two; Someone is recommended to take a bath on Friday, after recording, and after bathing the person who has died.

All readers! If we observe the hadith and the brief explanation above, then we know that the bath whose status is obligatory is only bathing in jinabah. I have explained that in a number of previous articles. As for bathing, the recommended status is bathing on Friday, after recording, and after bathing the person who has died.

Bathing on Friday is usually carried out by Muslim men before their Friday prayers at the mosque. Are Muslim women recommended to do that? If I observe the hadith above, I do not find the limitations of the subject who must do that. So, in my opinion, this recommendation also applies to Muslim women.

You need to know that bathing on Fridays is highly recommended. Its status is not just a recommended, but it is highly recommended. We can get this information in the hadith below;
