The Virtue of Ablution (Wudu); The Best Explanation

The Virtue of Ablution (Wudu) ~ Hi all readers! In the next few articles, we have discussed a number of discussions relating to wudu. We also know what body parts must be washed and rubbed on ablution. Likewise, the estimated amount of water used by the Prophet Muhammad when he was ablution (wudu). In this article, I will explain the virtues of ablution (wudu) for the people of Prophet Muhammad (Muslims). Okay! Straight to!

As always, before I explain more about the virtue of ablution (wudu), I will present one hadith of the Prophet Muhammad.

Hadith About the Virtue of Ablution (Wudu)

The hadith about the virtue of ablution (wudu) that I mean is below;

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, “I have heard the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “Verily my people on the Day of Judgment come with white light in all members of the ablution (limbs washed and wiped in wudu) from the former ablution. Whoever of you can prolong his white light, then let him do that.” The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

All readers! We need to know that the people of the Prophet Muhammad had several advantages and privileges compared to other peoples. Their strengths and virtues that are most visible in the world are that these Muslims have been destined to be the people of the Prophet Muhammad, the most important figure of the Prophet, and even he has the title “Beloved of Allah”. As for the afterlife, the people of the Prophet Muhammad will come with white light in all parts of the body washed and rubbed when they do ablution (wudu).

Their white light is a sign that they are the people of the Prophet Muhammad. With that sign, he recognized his people. That is what becomes their jewelry later. Because of that in the above hadith, he said, “Whoever of you is able to extend his white light, then let him do it.” We can do that by doing all the suggestions in ablution (wudu), such as gargling, rubbing both ears, breathing a little water then take it out, wash it and rub it three times, etc.

I still remember, when I was a teenager, I had focused on studying Islamic sciences. There was one teacher who interested me in our discussion this time. He recommends that every time my ablution (wudu) is broken, I will immediately ablution (wudu) again. The goal is so that our bodies, both the spiritual and the inner, remain in a state of holiness.

But what we need to know here is that what is the virtue and privilege of the people of Prophet Muhammad is the white light, not the ablution (wudu).

I think that is enough for this article about the virtue of ablution (wudu)! If you still don’t understand, please ask! May we include the people of the Prophet Muhammad who have a white light in the hereafter! Hopefully, we including his people can extend the white light in our body! Hopefully, this article is useful! Amen!

See you again in the next article!
