How to Find Out the Coming of Ramadan? ~ Hi all readers! In the previous article, I have stated, that if the month of Ramadan had arrived, Muslims who had fulfilled the requirements of fasting was required to fast. In this article, I will explain how to know the coming of Ramadan. Like something that comes and goes, Ramadan is like that. For this reason, we need to know as Muslims so that the fast we make becomes legitimate.
As always, before I expand on how to find out the coming of Ramadan further, I will present some of the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad related to our discussion.
Hadith About the Coming of Ramadan
The hadith about the coming of Ramadan that I mean is as follows:
From Abdullah bin Umar the radliyallahu anhuma, he said, “That the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam called the month of Ramadan and said, “One month there are twenty-nine nights.”
From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, “The Messenger of Allah sallallaâhu hu alaihi wa sallam said, “Calculate the month of Sya’ban to determine the beginning of the month of Ramadan.”
From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, “The Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “You must fast because you see that (month), you must eat because you see that. If you can’t see it, then perfect the month of Sya’an to thirty.” The editorial of hadith belongs to Muslim, “If you have seen the moon, fast! If you have seen it, then eat! If you can’t see it, it will last up to thirty days.”
