Tayamum; A Solution to Ablution if There Is No Water ~ Hi all readers! In the previous articles, I have explained how to purify the body using water. That can be done by bathing or ablution. Well, in this article I will explain a solution that we can use to purify the body if we don’t find water. As Muslims, we must know about this because not always our needs for water will always be fulfilled.

As always, before I speak more about this topic, after I will quote some of the hadith related to our discussion. Pay attention!

Hadith About Tayamum

The hadith about Tayamum that I mean is as follows:

From Jabir radliyallaahu ‘anhu, that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “I have been given five things which were not given to one Prophet before me; I have been helped by fear throughout the course of one month, the earth has been made a holy place of worship for me, so if the time has come for prayer to someone, then it is best for him to pray.”

In the hadith narrated by Muslim from Hudzaifah radliyallaahu anhu mentioned, “The dust (dust of the earth) has been made holy for us if we do not find water.”

In the hadith narrated by Ahmad from Ali mentioned, “And dust has been made holy for me.”
