Sunnah Acts of Wudu
Questions:
1. What are fard acts of wudu? If I want to wash my face and there’s some sweat on my face, can I make my hand damp after that clean my face or cleaning my face is required?
2. Also, if I were to wash my arms or face, normally I damp my hand and touch the tap to shut it and clean my face after touching tap. The tap was damp because of me shutting it, so is my wudu legitimate since my hand had mustamil (used sprinkle)?
3. Also when doing masah, if my hand touched my damp face which sprinkle also was available in doing masah is my wudu legitimate? (Here also mustamil water)
4. Is doing wudu in actions mandatory or otherwise?
5. Is it mandatory to complete the wudu before the hands and face obtain dry?
Answers:
1. There are 4 fardh acts of wudu: (1) Wash the whole face (2) Wash both hands until and consisting of the elbow joints. (3) Make masah of at the very least quarter of the head. (4) Wash both the feet until and consisting of the ankle joints.
wudu requires that the face must be cleaned. Simply wetting it wants.
2. As over.
3. It’s legitimate.
4. If you intend by actions doing it in the right series after that it’s sunnah.
5. This is also a sunnah.
The sunnah acts of wudu many. Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan (may Allah protect him) said:
The sunnah of wudu are as complies with:
Using siwak, which is to be done when washing the mouth, so that through the siwak and washing the mouth, the mouth will be cleansed for worship and be ready for recitation of Quran and conversing with Allah, may He be pietistic and exalted.
Cleaning the hands 3 times when beginning wudu, before cleaning the face, because of the hadiths which mention that, and because the hands are the devices used to transport sprinkle to the various other components of the body, so cleaning them is sensible activity before waging wudu.
Beginning by washing the mouth and nose before cleaning the face, because beginning with them is mentioned in the hadiths; and one should do them thoroughly when not not eating.
What is meant by cleaning the mouth thoroughly is distributing sprinkle to all components of the mouth, when washing the nose it means taking up sprinkle to the deepest component of the nose.
When it comes to a thick beard, ensuring that sprinkle gets to throughout; and production certain that sprinkle obtains between the fingers and toes.
Beginning on the right when it comes to the hands/arms and feet, before the left.
Cleaning greater than once, up to 3 times, when cleaning the face, hands/arms and feet.” (Al-Mulakhkhas al-Fiqhi, 1/44-45)
Another Sunnah is cleaning the ears , inning accordance with most of scholars. Imam Ahmad was of the view that cleaning them is obligatory.
