Right Body in Ablution (Wudu) ~ Hi all readers! In this article, I will explain how to start ablution (wudu). In the previous articles, we know that there are several members of the same body that must be washed and wiped. There are two hands; right hand and left hand. There are two ears; right ear and left ear. There are two legs; right foot and left foot. Well, if we do ablution, which one should we wash and we wipe first; the right or the left?
As always, before I answer the above question and speak more about right body in ablution (wudu), I will present the two hadiths as follows;
Hadith About Right Body in Ablution (Wudu)
The hadith about right body in ablution (wudu) that I mean is as follows:
From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, “The Messenger of Allah alaihi wa sallam said, “If you will do ablution (wudu), then start with your right limb.” The hadith is narrated by four people (Abu Daud, at-Tirmidzi, an -Nasa’I, Ibn Majah).
From Aisha radliyallahu anha, she said, “Indeed the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam was pleased to put the right member of the body first when he was wearing sandals, when he combed his hair, when he was ablution (wudu), and in all his affairs.” it was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

All readers! If we observe the two hadiths above, then we will know a number of things as follows;
One; We are encouraged to put the right limbs first when we are doing ablution (wudu).
Two; These recommendations also apply to all good things, such as beautifying yourself, wearing sandals, shoes, clothes, and so on.
But what we need to know here is that the suggestion to put the right side of the body first does not apply when we enter the bathroom. If we are going to enter the bathroom, we are encouraged to put the left foot first. Likewise, when we will clean the dirt in the anus or hold the penis or vagina, when we will exit the mosque, when we take off clothes. When we will do it all, we are encouraged to put the right side of the body first.
I think that is enough for this article about right body in ablution (wudu)! May be useful! Amen!
