O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good. (An-Nisa [2]: 19).
اَلرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُوْنَ عَلَى النِّسَاۤءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللّٰهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ وَّبِمَآ اَنْفَقُوْا مِنْ اَمْوَالِهِمْ ۗ فَالصّٰلِحٰتُ قٰنِتٰتٌ حٰفِظٰتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللّٰهُ ۗوَالّٰتِيْ تَخَافُوْنَ نُشُوْزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوْهُنَّ وَاهْجُرُوْهُنَّ فِى الْمَضَاجِعِ وَاضْرِبُوْهُنَّ ۚ فَاِنْ اَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلَا تَبْغُوْا عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيْلًا ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيْرًا
Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand. (An-Nisa [2]: 34).
عَنْ أَبِيْ هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَكْمَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ إِيْمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمُ خُلُقًا ، وَخِيَارُكُمُ خِيَارُكُمْ لِنِسَائِهِمْ .
"The best of believers are those who are best in character. And the best of you are those who are chosen (morally) to women."
عَنْ أَبِيْ هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ اِمْرَأَتَانِ فَمَالَ إِلَى إِحْدَاهُمَا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَشِقُّهُ مَاِئلٌ
From Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu, from the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said, "Whoever has two wives and he love one of them more, then he will come on the Day of Resurrection in a tilted state."
If we read some Islamic legal literature on the relationship between husband and wife in Islam, we will not find an explanation that specifically explains that it is permissible for a husband to touch his wife's breasts. The reason is because the discussion is very particular.
But if we want to know the legality of husband touching his wife's breasts in Islam, we can find it in the discussion of the romantic relationship between husband and wife. For example, we can find an explanation that Islam allows husband and wife to bathe together. We can find this explanation in the hadith below:
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ : كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ تَخْتَلِفُ أَيْدِيْنَا فِيْهِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
From Aisha radliyallahu anha, she said, "I once bathed with the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam in one container because of Janabah. Our hands are different in them." The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
In the above hadith it is explained that the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam once bathed with Aisha bint Abu Bakr, one of his wives. Bathing with your wife is one of the things that can make the relationship between husband and wife more romantic. Likewise, touching the wife's breasts.
In the previous few paragraphs, I have explained that touching the wife's breasts is one of the things that can increase the harmony of the husband and wife relationship. - Having sex with the opposite sex (jima') on purpose.
- The discharge of semen (sperm) is caused by touching the skin.
- Menstruation and puerperium.
- Crazy.
- Murtad or leaving Islam.
Those are eight things about things that can break fasting. As Muslims, we must understand it all.

Hugging each other is the second thing husband and wife can do in Ramadan when they are both fasting. Hugging I mean here is a hug that does not make them both secrete their own sperm. If their sperm both come out due to hugging, their fast is broken. Hugging like that is not allowed in Ramadan.
Touching each other
Touching each other is the third thing a husband and wife can do in Ramadan when they are both fasting. By touching what I mean here is touching that does not make them both secrete their own sperm. If their sperm both come out due to contact, their fast is broken. Touching like that is not allowed in Ramadan.
Sleeping together
Sleeping together is the fourth thing a husband and wife can do in Ramadan when they are both fasting. Sleeping together I mean here is a sleep that does not make them both secrete their own sperm. If their sperm both come out from sleeping together, their fast is broken. Sleeping together like that is not allowed in Ramadan.
Doing things that do not break the fast, such as sex and so on

Can Husband and Wife Kiss During Ramadan?

A kiss is a sign of affection. But it should not be done carelessly in Islam. What it means is that you are not allowed to kiss a woman who is not your wife and who is not your mahram. You also shouldn't kiss other men on their lips. If you want to kiss another guy, you can kiss their forehead. It is allowed in Islam. We can find this explanation in the hadith below:
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا : أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيْقَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَبَّلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ . رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ
From Aisha radiyallahu anha, that indeed Abu Bakr radliyallahu anhu kissed the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam after he died. This hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari.
In addition, we can find an explanation that it is permissible for a husband to kiss his wife in the hadith below:
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبَّلَ بَعْضَ نِسَائِهِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ . أَخْرَجَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَضَعَّفَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ
From Aisha, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam once kissed some of his wives then he went out to pray and he did not perform ablution." The hadith was narrated by Ahmad and the link in the chain was considered weak by al-Bukhari.
If we read the eight things that can damage fasting as I have explained in the previous paragraphs, we will find no explanation that kissing can ruin fasting. What this means is that in general a husband can kiss his wife during Ramadan. But in some cases, kissing can break the fast. This is what I will explain in the following paragraphs.
Kissing That Break Fasting
Before I explain about kissing that breaks fasting, I want you to understand the first thing that can break the fast as I explained earlier. The first thing I mean is if something goes into the body orifice on purpose.
Now, if you ask me about kissing that breaks fasting, the answer is that when a husband and wife kiss, either one of them or they both swallow their partner's saliva. Kisses like that can break the fast.

In general, I would like to say that the things that Muslims should not do during Ramadan are the prohibitions for them every day and the things that break the fast. I've explained that in the previous paragraphs.
Some of the things that spoil fasting are things that are done intentionally. Some other things are natural, such as menstruation, postpartum. The other thing is destiny, like crazy.
If you ask me, "what are the things that Muslims are not allowed to do during Ramadan?" the answer is things that can damage fasting, such as inserting something into the body orifices intentionally, treating by inserting objects (drugs or other objects) in one of two ways (qubul and anus), vomiting intentionally, having sex with of the opposite sex (jima') intentionally, and releasing semen (sperm) on purpose. Those are things that all Muslims are not allowed to do while fasting, whether they are fasting on weekdays or during Ramadan.
In the previous paragraph, I have explained some things that Muslims in general should not do during Ramadan or they are fasting. Now I will explain some specific things that couples should not do during Ramadan.
The things that couples should not do during Ramadan are doing things that cause fluids to enter the body and sperm to come out. Some examples are as follows:
- A kiss that causes spit to enter the throat.
- Cuddling which causes sperm to come out.
- Making out which can cause sperm to come out.
- Sex (jima').
