Hi all readers! In this article, I will explain the obligation for people who see janazah (funeral). Hadith About Obligation for People Who See Janazah (Funeral)

The hadith about obligation for people who see janazah (funeral) that I mean is as follows;

عَنْ أَبِيْ سَعِيْدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ؛ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الْجَنَازَةَ فَقُوْمُوْا ، فَمَنْ تَبِعَهَا فَلَا يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى تُوْضُعَ . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ

From Abu Sa’id radliyallahu ‘anhu, that the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said, “If you see Janazah (funeral), then stand up! Whoever delivers the Janazah cannot sit until the janazah is placed (on the ground).” The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
