عَنْ أَبِيْ هُرَيْرَةُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ ؛ قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؛ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْجَنَازَةَ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهَا فَلَهُ قِيْرَاطٌ ، وَمَنْ شَهِدَهَا حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ فَلَهُ قِيْرَطَانِ . قِيْلَ ؛ وَمَا الْقِيْرَاطَانِ ؟ قَالَ ؛ مِثْلُ الْجَبَلَيْنِ الْعَظِيْمَيْنِ . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, "Messenger of Allah sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Whoever comes to the deceased (Janazah) until he prays for the deceased, then he gets a reward as big as Qirath. Whoever comes to the deceased (and prayers for the janazah) until the deceased is buried, then he gets a reward of two Qiraths." Then asked, "What are the two Qiraths?" He said, "Like two big mountains." The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Position of the Imam in Janazah Prayer for Female

Niyyah for Janazah prayer for Female
Niyyah is something very important in Islam. Niyyah affects the status of a Muslim's actions. Likewise, Niyyah in the Janazah prayer.
Before I explain more about Niyyah in Janazah prayer for female, I want to explain that there is a difference in performing Janazah prayer. Janazah prayer can be done directly and indirectly. The Niyyah for the Janazah prayer that is performed indirectly is different from the Janazah prayer that is performed directly. أُصَلِّي عَلَى هَذَهِ الْمَيِّتَةِ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيْرَاتٍ فَرْضَ الْكِفَايَةِ أَدَآءً إِمَاماً لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى
I intend to pray for the corpse of this female with four takbir, fardhu kifayah, done now, by becoming imam, because of Allah Taala.
If you are Makmum in Janazah prayer for female and done directly
أُصَلِّي عَلَى هَذَهِ الْمَيِّتَةِ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيْرَاتٍ فَرْضَ الْكِفَايَةِ أَدَآءً مَاْمُوْماً لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى
I intend to pray for the corpse of this female with four takbir, fardlu kifayah, done now, by becoming makmum, because of Allah Taala.
If you are imam, the Janazah is female, and done indirectly
أُصَلِّي عَلَى هَذَهِ الْمَيِّتَةِ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيْرَاتٍ فَرْضَ الْكِفَايَةِ غَائِباً إِمَاماً لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى
I intend to pray for the corpse of this femala with four takbir, fardlu kifayah, done indirectly, by becoming imam, because of Allah Taala.
If you are makmum, the Janazah is female, and done indirectly
أُصَلِّي عَلَى هَذَهِ الْمَيِّتَةِ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيْرَاتٍ فَرْضَ الْكِفَايَةِ غَائِباً مَاْمُوْماً لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى
I intend to pray for the corpse of this femake with four takbir, fardlu kifayah, done indirectly, by becoming prosperous, because of Allah Taala.
Readings in Janazah prayer for Female
In Janazah prayer for female, there are certain readings. Each reading in each rak'ah is different from the reading in other rak'ahs.

After the First Takbir in Janazah Prayer for Female

"O Allah, give glory to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You have given glory to Abraham. Give blessings to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you gave blessings to Abraham in the universe. Indeed, You are the Most Praising and Most Noble.
After the Third Takbir in Janazah Prayer for Female
After the third Takbir in Janazah prayer for female you have to read the prayer. The general prayers in the Janazah prayer after the Rakaat are as follows:
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهَا وَارْحَمْهاَ وَعَافِهاَ واعْفُ عَنْهاَ
O Lord, forgive her, bless her, heal her, and forgive her.
After the Fourth Takbir in Janazah Prayer for Female
After the fourth Takbir in Janazah prayer for female, you have to read the prayer. The general prayers in the Janazah prayer after the fourth Rakaat are as follows:
اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْناَ أَجْرَهاَ وَلَا تَفْتِنّاَ بَعْدَهاَ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَهاَ
O Lord, do not forbid us to the reward, do not give us trials upon her death, forgive us and her.
