As Muslims, we must know about this, because what is an important point in janabah bath is the arrival of water on all skin of the body. The question is, how do thick-haired people do that? Of course, thick hair will be the main barrier to the arrival of water on all skin.
As always, before I explain Janabah bathing guide for thick haired people, I will quote one hadith that is specifically related to our discussion. Pay attention!
Hadith About Janabah Bathing Guide for Thick Haired People
The hadith about Janabah bathing guide for thick haired people that I mean is as follows:
From Ummu Salamah radliyallaahu anhaa, she said, “I once said, “O Messenger of Allah, actually I am a woman who has very thick head hair. Do I have to pull it to bathe Janabah? In a history mentioned, “And menstruation.” He replied, “No! You only need to water it with three hands.” The hadith is narrated by Muslim.
If we observe the hadith above, then we will know that people with thick hair are not obliged to attract them to bathe in Janabah. But before I make a conclusion about this, I will first explain about differences of opinion among experts on Islamic law on this issue. Pay attention!
One; Abu Hanifah said, that women are not obliged to pull their hair to do janabah bath, while men must pull their hair.
