Before I describe the characteristics of good Muslim woman in Lyttelton, I want to say that there is no one complete explanation in Islamic legal literacy (as much as I know) about the characteristics of a good Muslim woman. Whether it is in Lyttelton or elsewhere. You can find explanations about the characteristics of good Muslim woman in many Islamic messages, not in one Islamic text.

For instance, You can find an explanation of the characteristics of good Muslim woman in both hadiths below:

From Abdullah bin Umar bin Ash radliyallahu anhu, he said, “Indeed there was a man asking the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, “Who are the good Muslims?” He replied, “People who other Muslims survived from his mouth and hands.”

From Ibn Umar radliyallahu anhu, he said, “Someone came to the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam then said, “O Messenger of Allah, who is the person who is most liked by Allah and what actions are most preferred by Allah?” He (Prophet Muhammad) then said, “The person who is most liked by God is the most beneficial for humans (other people), he removes the sadness of others, pays other people’s debts, and eliminates hunger from others. I would rather walk with my brother who needs me than I doing Itikaf in this mosque -the Medina mosque- for one month.”

Readers all! If we understand both hadiths over, we can conclude several important things as adheres to:

One: the first hadith explains that a good Muslim is a Muslim who does not hurt various other Muslims with his hands and words.

Two: the second hadith explains that a good person (in the context of this discussion is a Muslim woman) is someone who is most beneficial to others: she helps others, she feeds another individuals who are hungry, she helps other individuals address their problems. So, inning accordance with the second hadith, the personality of a good Muslim woman is a Muslim woman who is beneficial to others. In truth, being a Muslim woman who benefits others is better than I’tikaf in the mosque for one month.

The Best Ways to Be a Good Muslim Woman in Lyttelton

The 4th crucial thing about Important Reasons Why You Should be a Good Muslim Woman in Lyttelton that I will clarify presently is the specifics. So, I really hope that you read the explanation listed below very well.

There are many ways to be a good Muslim woman in Lyttelton. The main ways are as follows:

First: you have to do all your responsibilities as a Muslim woman in Lyttelton.

Some examples of your responsibilities as a good Muslim woman in Lyttelton are as adheres to:

One: Performing five obligatory prayers in a day. The five obligatory prayers that I suggest are Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Isha, and Maghrib.

There are many commands to perform the 5 obligatory prayers in the hadiths and Quran. You can find it in the following verses of the Quran and hadith:

Maintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer and stand before Allah, devoutly obedient. (Al-Baqarah [2]: 238).

Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. (Tha Ha [20]: 14).

Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do. (Al-‘Ankabut [29]: 45).

The Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “I was ordered to pray five times every day.” The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari.

The Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “If a child is seven years old, then he must be ordered to pray. If he is ten years old (and he does not want to pray), then he must be beaten.” The hadith is narrated by Ahmad.

Two: Paying Zakat if you are able to do so.

You can find instructions for paying Zakat for Muslims who have the capacities to do so in the Quran and hadith below:

And establish prayer and give zakat and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience]. (Al-Baqarah [2]: 43).

From Ibn Abbas radliyyallahu anhuma, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had sent Mua’adz to Yemen – he then mentioned his hadith. In the hadith there is a statement, “That indeed Allah has required them to pay zakat for their assets. (Zakat) is taken from those who are rich and given to those who are poor.” The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Islam is built on five foundations; testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, performing prayers, paying Zakat, fasting in the month of Ramadan, visiting the Baitullah (Hajj) for those who are able to travel there.

From Ibn Abbas radliyallahu anhuma, he said, “The messenger of Allah sallallallahu alayhi wa sallam has obliged Zakat al-Fitr to purify those who fast from all things that are not useful, from bad words, and to feed poor people. Whoever pays it before the Eid al-Fitr prayer, it is the Zakat received. But whoever pays for it after Eid prayers, then it is usual alms.” The hadith was narrated by Abu Daud and Ibn Majah.

From Ibn Umar radliyallahu anhuma, he said, “The messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam has required Zakat Fitr of one Sha’ of dates – or one Sha’ of wheat – to a slave, a free man, woman, small child and old people from Muslims. He ordered that it be given before people leave the house to pray Eid (Eid al-Fitr). “The hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, that the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “And in treasure there is an obligation to pay zakat of 1/5.” The hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Three: Fasting in Ramadan if you are able to do so.

You can find instructions for fasting in Ramadan in the verses of the Quran and hadith listed below:

O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous. (Al-Baqarah 2]: 183).

[Fasting for] a limited number of days. So, whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] – then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] – a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess – it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew. (Al-Baqarah 2]: 184).

The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So, whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful. (Al-Baqarah 2]: 185).

Islam is built on five foundations; testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, performing prayers, paying Zakat, fasting in the month of Ramadan, visiting the Baitullah (Hajj) for those who are able to travel there.

Four: Dutiful to both parents if you still have them both.

You can find the injunction to offer two parents in the verses of the Quran and hadith listed below:

Say, “Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities – what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason.” (Al-An’am [6]: 151).

And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], “uff,” and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. (Al-Isra’ [17]: 23).

From Abdullah ibn Umar radliyallahu anhuma, he said, “Someone came to the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam to ask permission of him to perform jihad. He then asked, “Are your parents still alive?” The man replied, “Yes.” He said, “Do good to both.”

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, “Someone came to meet Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. The person then asked, “O Messenger of Allah, who is the most righteous person with my service?” He replied, “Your mother.” The person asked, “Then who else?” He replied, “Your mother.” The person then asked, “Then who else? “He replied,” Your mother. “The man then asked again,” Then who else? “He replied,” Your father.”

From Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “…a woman enters Hell because she binds a cat and does not feed it nor does she let it go so that can eat small animals that are on the ground until it (the cat) dies.”

O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the woman of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. (Al-Ahzab [33]: 59).

And tell the believing woman to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their woman, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of woman.

Sufyan said, “I once met Muhammad bin Jakfar. He then said, “If you often feel troubled, then often read لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ (there is no power and strength except that of Allah. If you feel lack of sustenance, then often read Istighfar. If you get a lot) once enjoyment, then often praise Allah.”
