Specifically, there are some important things about “how to perform wudu for females sunni?" which I will explain in this article. Some of the important things I mean are as follows:

Why Is Wudu for Females Sunni Important?

The first important thing about “how to perform wudu for females sunni?” what I will explain now is "why is wudu for females sunni important?". I want you to understand that first before you read any more explanations in this article because that is the basic question in this discussion that should be well understood.

In general, if we read some Islamic legal literature on wudu, we will find three reasons why wudu for females sunni is important. The three reasons I mean are as follows:

  • Since wudu is the most important way to get rid of minor hadas, the other way is Tayammum. We can find this explanation in various Islamic legal literatures. In other words, it is a common thing that the majority of Muslims already understand. So, I will not explain that again here.
  • Because there are some acts of worship in Islam that require Muslims to have wudu or to be in a state of purity when doing it all. One of them is prayer. We can find this explanation in the following hadiths:

From Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu, that the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Allah does not accept someone's prayer from you if he has hadas (small hadas) until he performs wudu." This hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

From Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "If one of you finds something in his stomach, then he doubts whether something has come out of him or not? So, he is not allowed to leave the mosque until he hears a sound or smells an aroma." This hadith was narrated by Muslim.

From 'Abbad bin Tamim, from his uncle, that there was once a man who complained to the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, that he hesitated as if he found something (fart) in his prayer. He then said, "He must not move or leave until he hears his voice or smells his smell."

From Ali bin Thalq radiyallahu anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah shallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, "If any of you emits a soundless wind from his anus while praying, then let him go out and perform wudu, then repeat his prayer." The hadith was narrated by five people (Ahmad, Abu Daud, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah).

  • Because wudu has many virtues. I will explain the virtues of wudu in the next few paragraphs.

That's a brief explanation of "why is wudu for females sunni important?". As Muslims, we must understand that.

When Should Females Sunni Perform Wudu?

The second important point about “how to perform wudu for females sunni?” what I will explain now is "when should females sunni perform wudu?". I want you to understand that now so that you understand when females have to perform wudu.

In the previous few paragraphs, I have explained that wudu is the most important way to get rid of minor hadas. I have also explained that there are several acts of worship in Islam that require Muslims to have wudu or to be in a holy condition when doing it all. One of them is prayer.

So, if you ask me, "when should females sunni perform wudu?", the answer is "females should perform wudu when they have minor hadas and will perform worship that requires them to be in a pure condition."

That's a brief explanation of "when should females sunni perform wudu?". As Muslims, we must understand that.

The Virtue of Wudu for Females Sunni

The third important point about “how to perform wudu for females sunni?” what I will explain now is the virtues of wudu for females sunni. I want you to understand all of that now because they are all important things in this discussion that must be well understood.

Before I explain the virtues of wudu for females sunni, I will quote two hadiths related to this discussion. The two hadiths I am referring to are as follows:

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, "I have heard the The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said," Verily my people on the Day of Judgment come with white light in all members of wudu (limbs washed and wiped in wudu) from the former wudu. Whoever of you can prolong his white light, then let him do that." The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

The above hadith explains that the virtue of wudu is as a sign that distinguishes the people of the Prophet Muhammad and the people of other prophets on that day. Prophet Muhammad would recognize his people by the white light emanating from their bodies. The white light will emit from the body that is washed and rubbed when they perform wudu.

From Umar radliyallahu anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah alaihi wa sallam said, "It is not one of you who performs wudu then perfects it, then says, "I testify that there is no god but Allah who has no partner, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger," except the eight doors of Heaven have been opened for him. He can enter any door he wants." The hadith is narrated by Muslims and at-Tirmidhi. He (at-Tirmidhi) added another editor, "O Allah, make me among those who repent and make me including those who are cleansed."

The above hadith explains that if Muslims complete their wudu and pray after wudu, then they can enter Paradise through whatever gates of Paradise they wish. In other words, wudu can erase prayer. That is one of the virtues of wudu.

That is a brief explanation of the virtues of wudu for females sunni. As Muslims, we must understand that.

How to Perform Wudu for Females Sunni?

The fourth important point about “how to perform wudu for females sunni?” what I will explain now is a specific explanation. So, I really hope you read the explanation below very well.

The explanation of wudu for females sunni is as follows:

Wudu for Females Sunni Step by Step

Before I explain wudu for females sunni step by step, I want to say that there is no difference between wudu for females sunni and wudu for men sunni. In other words, what they have to do in wudu is the same.

In general, we can find what I have to do for females sunni and men sunni in wudu in some of the hadiths below:

From Hamran, Uthman did wudu. He washed his palms three times. Then he rinsed, put a little water into his nose and removed the water from his nose. Then he washed his face three times. Then he washed his right hand to the elbow three times. Then his left hand is like that (like his right hand). Then he rubbed his head. Then he washed his right foot until his ankles three times. Then his left leg like that. then he said, "I have seen the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa salmma do wudlu like this wudu."" The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

From Ali radliyallahu anhu about the nature of wudu of the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. He said, "He (Prophet Muhammad) wiped his head once." The hadith was narrated by Abu Daud.

From Abdullah bin Amru radliyallahu ahuma about the nature of wudu. He said, "Then he (the Prophet Muhammad) rubbed his head and put two index fingers into two ears and he rubbed the outside of his ears with two thumbs up." The hadith is narrated by Abu Daud and an-Nasa'i.

All readers! If we understand some of the hadiths about wudu above, we can conclude that some of the things that females sunni (and all Muslims sunni of course) must do in wudu are as follows:

  1. Gargle. This is sunnah in wudu.
  2. Wash your face. This is obligatory in wudu.
  3. Say niyyat for wudu when washing the face. This is obligatory in wudu.
  4. Washing two hands up to two elbows. This is obligatory in wudu.
  5. Wiping some of the hair of the head. This is obligatory in wudu.
  6. Rub the two ears. This is obligatory in wudu.
  7. Washing two feet to two ankles. This is obligatory in wudu.

That's a brief explanation of "how to perform wudu for females sunni?" and some important things about it. Do you understand? If you want to ask, please ask!

I think that's enough for this article. May be useful. Amen.

See you again in the next article!
