How to Perform Janaba Bath After Menstruation? ~ Hi all readers! In a previous article, I have explained the Janaba bath for women. It is one of the important articles that must be understood by Muslim women. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it to you.

Now, in this article, I will explain the Janaba bath after menstruation. So, the explanations in this article are closely related to the previous discussion. The focus of the discussion in this article is the Janaba bath after menstruation. The focus of the discussion in the previous article is the Janaba bath for women in general.

In this article, there are three important things about Janaba bath after menstruation that I will explain. The three important things I mean are as follows:

  1. The Meaning of Bathing Janaba After Menstruation.
  2. Why is Janaba Bath After Menstruation Important?
  3. Janabah Bath After Menstruation.

The Meaning of Bathing Janaba After Menstruation

The first important thing about Janaba bath after menstruation that I will explain in this article is the meaning of Janaba bath after menstruation. I want you to understand that so you can differentiate between a regular Janaba bath and a Janaba bath after menstruation.

Actually, in general, the Janaba bath after menstruation is the same as the regular Janaba bath. The difference between the two is the chronology. The chronology of a Muslim must distinguish a regular Janaba bath is if they have had sex or released sperm. Something that requires Muslim women to do the Janabah bath after menstruation is the menstruation that she has experienced.

That is the meaning of the Janaba bath after menstruation that I mean in this article and the chronology.

Why is Janaba Bath After Menstruation Important?

The second important thing about the Janabah bath after menstruation that I will explain here is the reason why the Janabah bath after menstruation is important? I don’t think all Muslims know that.

By the way, did you know that menstruation is a big hadas that must be cleaned? That’s the reason. So, after menstruation, Muslim women have to perform the Janabah bath to purify themselves.

There are several things that Muslim women should not do before they bathe in Janaba after menstruation:

One: performing some rituals that require them to be in a holy state, such as praying, reading the Quran, Tawaf, and so on. There are many explanations for that. So, I will not explain that again in this article.

Two: having sex with her husband.

We can find an explanation of the second point in the Quran below:

They ask you about menstruation. Say: “Menstruation is an impurity”. Therefore, keep away from women during menstruation, and do not approach them until they are holy. When they are pure, then mix them where Allah has commanded you. Verily, Allah loves those who repent and loves those who purify themselves.” (Al-Baqarah: 222).
