From Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu, he said, “My beloved (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has instructed me three things: fasting three days every month, two rakat in Duha prayer, and praying Witr before I go to sleep.”

Whoever prays Duha two rakat, then he will not be recorded as part of those who forget. Whoever prays (Duha) four rakat, then he will be recorded as part of those who worship. Whoever prays (Duha) six rakat, then he will be given sufficient on that day. Whoever prays (Duha) eight rakat, Allah will record it as part of those who pray. Whoever prays (Duha) eight rakat, Allah will make a house for him in Paradise…”
