Important Things You Need to Know About Eid Prayer (Salat) ~ Hi all readers! Shortly every time all Muslims will perform the prayer Eid al-Fitri as a sign of the completion of the month of Ramadan. Prayer is one of the prayers whose status is a recommendation, not an obligation. There are two types of Eid prayer; Eid al-Fitri prayer and Eid al-Adhah prayer. Eid al-Fitri prayer is a two rakats prayer that is performed on the 1st of Shawwal, while the Eid al-Adhah prayer is done on the 10th Dzulhijjah. In this article, I will explain the important things we must know about Eid prayer.

You need to know that the important things to know about Eid Prayer (Salat) are as follows.

One; The number of rakat in Eid prayer are two such as Shubuh prayer and Friday Prayer.

Two; The time to perform Eid prayer is from sunrise to rising sun (zawaalu asy-Syamsi). But the most important time is to end the execution time until the sun rises to the size of a spear.

Three; Eid prayer can be done outside the building.

Four; At the first rak’ah, before reciting the surah al-Fatihah, one must perform takbir sampi seven times. At the first rak’ah, before reciting the surah al-Fatihah, one must perform takbir until five times. Every one takbir, one must read سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ before he does the next takbir.

Five; There is no adhan and iqamah.

Six; The first sermon begins with takbir up to nine times. The second sermon begins with takbir up to seven times.

Seven; In sermons for Eid al-Fitri prayer must mention zakat fitrah. In the Khutbah for Eid al-Adhah prayer must mention the slaughter of livestock.

Eight; Eid Prayer (Eid al-Fitri and Eid al-Adha) were carried out before the sermon.

The people who are recommended to Eid prayer are Muslims who are obliged to pray five times a day. I think you already know about that.
