In fact, Hajj is one of the ancient rituals in various religions that came down from Allah. One of the proofs is that Prophet Adam had done Hajj forty times walking from the Indies. Ibn Ishaq, one of the Muslim historians said, that there was no prophet after Prophet Ibrahim, unless they had all performed Hajj. This opinion is different from those who say that all prophets after Prophet Ibrahim have performed Haj except Prophet Hud and Prophet Salih.

Eleven Important Hadiths About Hajj

There are actually a lot of hadiths that describe Hajj. But, in my opinion, there are eleven hadiths that we should know. In reply to the hadith I mean as follows;

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “One Umrah to Umrah to the other is the penance of sin which exists between the two. There is no other reward for Hajj Mabrur except only Heaven.” The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

From Ibn Abbas radliyallahu anhuma, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had met a group of people who were riding in vehicles in ar-Rauha ‘. He then asked, “Who are these people?” They answered, “The Muslims.” They then asked, “Who are you?” He replied, “Allah’s Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.” Then there was a woman who raised a child and asked, “Can this child do Hajj?” He replied, “Yes and you get the reward.” The hadith is narrated by Muslim.

From Anas radliyallahu anhu, he said,” It has been said, “O Messenger of Allah, what is” as-Sabil “?” He said, “Provisions and vehicles.” The Hadith was narrated by ad-Daruquthni.

From Ibn Abbas radliyallahu, that a woman from Juhainah came to the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and said, “Indeed my mother has promised to perform the Hajj, but she has not performed Hajj until she dies. Do I have to make the pilgrimage to replace her?” He said, “Yes. Do Hajj for her! Don’t you see, if your mother has a debt, then you will pay it? Pay promises to God. (Promise to) Allah must be done more. ” The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari.

From Aisha radliyallaahu Taala anhaa, she said, “When we arrived at Sarif, I was menstruating. The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam then said,” Do something that is usually done by those who do the Hajj, but you do not do the thawaf in Baitul Haram until you are holy. “The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

From Ibn Abbas radliyallahu anhu, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had heard a man say, “Labbaika an Syubrumah (I answer your call to replace Syubrumah). ” He said, “Who is my husband?” The person answered, “My brother or my relatives.” He asked, “Have you done Hajj for yourself?” The person answered, “Not yet.” He said, “Do hajj for yourself first, then do hajj for Syubrumah.” The hadith is narrated by Abu Daud and Ibn Majah.

From Ibn Abbas radliyallahu anhuma, “Al-Fadl bin Abbas radliyallahu anhu once followed the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Then a woman from Khats’am came. Al-Fadl then saw her, and she saw him. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam then turned al-Fadl’s face in the other direction. The woman then said, “O Messenger of Allah! Indeed, the obligation that Allah has given to His servants is Hajj. I knew that my father was very old. He is unable to travel; Can I do Hajj for him? He replied, “Yes.” It happened to the al-Wada Hajj (farewell hajj).” The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Abdul Aziz bin Abdillah told us, Ibrahim bin Sa’ad told us, from az-Zuhri, from Sa’id bin al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu, he said, “The Prophet. once asked, “What are the main actions?” He replied, “Faith in Allah and His Messenger.” Asked, “Then what?” He replied, “Jihad in the way of Allah.” Then asked, “Then what?” He replied, “Hajj Mabrur.”

From Abu Hurairah, he said, “The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,” Whoever, when performing hajj does not engage in sex and does not commit masses (sinning), then he will return (after returning from the hajj), like the day her mother gave birth to her.”

He then said, “Verily Allah has obliged Hajj to you.” Al-Aqra ‘bin Habis then stood up and asked, “Is it every year, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied, “If I said that, it would be an obligation.
