Defecation and Urination on the Road According to Islam

Shariah On Website: Defecation and Urination on the Road According to Islam ~ Hi all readers! In this article I will explain about bad activities that are still carried out by many people. The majority of people who do this are people who rarely pay attention to environmental cleanliness. By the way, do you know what that is? Yup! As I wrote in the article title, now I will explain that Islam forbids someone to defecate or urinate on the highway and so on.

As always, before I explain more about defecation and urination on the road according to Islam, I will quote two hadiths of Prophet Muhammad related to the theme of this article. The two hadiths that I mean are as follows;

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu ‘anhu, he said, “Allah‘s Messenger sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “Be careful of things that can bring cursing to hide in the middle of the path that is traversed by humans or that is where they take shelter.” Hadith it was narrated by Muslim.

Recommended Prayer After Defecating and Urinating

From Mu’adz radliyallahu ‘anhu, “You must be careful of three things that can bring cursing; people who defecate in waterways that are commonly used by people, road traffic, and shelter.”

There are a number of things we need to know about the two hadiths above;

One; The two hadiths above explain the prohibition on urination or urination on public roads and where people shelter because it can disturb them, such as making them unclean, they smell the basin, etc. when they are walking on the road or sitting in that shelter.

Two; Islam forbids a person from defecating in a place where water flows, such as places that emit water sources and rivers. The Prophet Muhammad also forbade someone to urinate on the road to the mosque.

Three; Urination or defecation under fruiting trees is also prohibited.

Four; Islam that pay attention to cleanliness, regulations, and general welfare.

As for those who have narrated the second hadith, Mu’adz bin Jabal bin ‘Amru al-Ansari. He was also called by the name Abu Abdirrahman al-Madani. He converted to Islam when he was 18 years old. He had been involved in Badr war and other wars. The Prophet Muhammad sent him to Yemen so that he would be the judge and teacher there. He has narrated 157 hadith. He died in 18 hijria when he was 33 years old.

That’s a brief explanation about defecation and urination on the road according to Islam. Do you understand? The problem is simple and the explanation that I have conveyed is also clear. So, I hope you understand. But, if you don’t understand, please ask!
