Islamic Shariah Reference: Suggestions for Cleaning the Mosque and the Reward for People Who Do It ~ Hi all readers! In some of the previous articles I have explained several things related to the mosque. In this article I will explain about the suggestion to clean the mosque. There is a lot of good that someone will get if he is willing to clean the mosque. Do you know what those good things are?

As always, before I explain this theme further, I will quote one hadith that is specifically related to our discussion. Pay attention!

From Anas radliyallaahu anhu, he said, “The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said, “The rewards of my people are shown to me, even the eye drop that someone excludes from the mosque.” The hadith is narrated by Abu Daud and at-Tirmidhi.

There are some important things related to the hadith above that we need to know;

One; The hadith explains, that Allah will never waste someone’s good deeds even though it is small.

Two; In this hadith the Prophet Muhammad told one thing related to the afterlife that Allah had shown him.

Three; The hadith explains about the suggestion to clean the mosque.

Four; The hadith explains that we should not underestimate goodness even though it is small, because it could be because we get forgiveness from Allah.

All readers! It is true, the hadith and some of the brief explanations above do not specifically explain the virtues that will be obtained by someone who cleans the mosque. But if we examine it, then we will know that there is a lot of good or reward that will be obtained by someone who is willing to do it. If someone cleanses the mosque from the dirt of the eye just gets a reward, then what will he get if he is willing to sweep the mosque, mop it, paint it, etc.? Of course, the reward he will get is greater if he does it all sincerely. Naturally, if it is like that, because the mosque is the house of Allah!

That is a brief explanation of suggestions for cleaning the Mosque and the reward for people who do it. Do you understand? If you want to ask, please ask!

I think that is enough for this article. May be useful! Amen!

See you again in the next article!
