Sharia / Islamic Prayer Salat / Sitting Between Two Sujood

Category: Sitting Between Two Sujood

Sitting Between Two Sujood ~ Muslims do sujud several times in each prayer, depending on the number of raka’at of prayer: two sajadat are performed every raka’ah, and prayers vary in obligatory length between two and four raka’at.

In Sujood the tasbeeh recited is subhana rabbiyal a’la which means “Glory is to my Lord, the Most High”. It is the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad that he also recited this three times.
