Convert to Islam

Converting to Islam is making Islam a religion. People who convert to Islam are called Muallaf. If someone has converted to Islam, then he must do all his obligations as a Muslim.

Converting Islam must be done by saying two kalimah Shahadah. So, converting to Islam is very easy. It can be done by anyone and anywhere.

What Is Islam in Simple Words?

In general, many people understand that Islam is the religion of the last sky. What I mean by the religion of heaven is the religion that comes from God (Allah). Islam was brought by the Prophet Muhammad as the last Prophet and Messenger of Allah.

That’s right. You are not wrong if you understand Islam in simple words how it is explained in the paragraph above. But there are some other very simple things that can make you understand what Islam is.

We can conclude that Islam in simple words is as follows:

One: bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger.

Two: perform the obligatory prayers five times a day (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha).

Three: paying Zakat for Muslims who have the obligation to pay Zakat.

Four: fasting in the month of Ramadan.

Five: performing Hajj for those Muslims who are able to do so.

In general, there are two main reasons why Islam is a good religion for us:

One: Islam guarantees happiness in this world and the hereafter for Muslims who practice Islamic teachings very well.

Two: the authenticity of the two main sources of Islam has been well maintained from time to time. The two main sources of Islam that I am referring to are the Quran and the hadiths. For this reason, the authenticity of Muslims as a people who follow religious teachings that came from heaven is very well maintained.

There has been much discussion about these two main reasons. Unfortunately, I can’t explain it all in this article because we would need a lot of time and words.

So, in simple terms, if you ask me, “is it true that Islam is a good religion for us?”, the answer is “of course. Islam is a good religion for us.”
