Category: Sunnah of Wudu

Sunnah of Wudu

The main Sunnah of wudu is as complies with:

1 – While beginning wudu, to wash the hands up to the wrists if they are clean… If the hands are unclean, it’s fard to wash them because the hands are the cleaning tools. They need to be cleaned first so as not to earn various other body organs filthy.

2 – To begin wudu by uttering “Audhu – Basmala”… It’s sunnah to utter basmala at the beginning of wudu, while cleaning the hands. If it’s failed to remember and uttered later on, that sunnah isn’t regarded to have been fulfilled because, wudu isn’t such as consuming. Wudu is a solitary entire action. In consuming, each morsel is a different action. If basmala is failed to remember to be uttered at the beginning of a dish and uttered later on, sunnah will be fulfilled.

It’s specified in a hadith that the wudu not began with basmala will not be a total and proper wudu.

In another hadith the following is specified, “Every component of an individual that starts wudu with basmala becomes clean. Just the wudu body organs of an individual that doesn’t begin wudu with basmala become clean.”

* Inning accordance with Hanbalis, it’s wajib to utter basmala at the beginning of wudu. If it’s skipped intentionally, wudu is invalidated. If it’s skipped unintentionally, wudu isn’t invalidated but its reward reduces.

Basmala is “the beginning of every great action.” It’s necessary to utter that spiritual word at the beginning of every great and legitimate action, not just at the beginning of worshipping such as wudu and prayer. In fact, the following is specified in a hadith, “All the acts that are not began with the name of Allah will be far from benefits and wealth and will be insufficient and inefficient.”

3 – To intend (Niyyah).

The intention must occur while cleaning the hands or face. What is meant by intention is to understand in one’s heart that he is production wudu. Intention will be all right also if it’s not pronounced if the wish to earn wudu exists in one’s heart.

* Inning accordance with Malikis and Shafiis, it’s fard to intend at the beginning of wudu. Intention is necessary while cleaning the face inning accordance with Shafiis. Inning accordance with Hanbalis, intention is among the problems of the credibility of wudu. Wudu isn’t legitimate without intention.

4 – To use a miswak, that’s, to clean the teeth at the beginning of wudu…

If an individual doesn’t have any teeth or if an individual cannot use a miswak or tooth brush because of a condition in his gingiva or if an individual doesn’t have a miswak or a tooth clean with him when he makes wudu, he is to wash his teeth and gingiva by rubbing them with his thumb and index finger.

Inning accordance with the declaration of the Messenger of Allah, a prayer performed after cleaning the teeth with miswak is seventy times more virtuous compared to a prayer performed without cleaning the teeth.

For ladies, chewing periodontal changes using miswak when they are not not eating.

5 – Production mazmaza (washing out the mouth) and istinshaq (snuffing sprinkle right into nostrils and blowing it out)…

Mazmaza means to put sprinkle right into the mouth, washing out the mouth.

Istinshaq means to snuff sprinkle right into nostrils production the sprinkle get to the soft components.

It’s not necessary to snuff sprinkle by breathing in. Putting sprinkle right into nostrils suffices. Mazmaza and istinshaq are sunnah al-muakkada. First, mazmaza is made; after that istinshaq is made. Both of them are performed 3 times. New sprinkle needs to be used for each mazmaza and istinshaq. If among the acts is deserted, this sunnah isn’t regarded to have been fulfilled.

Washing out the mouth and snuffing sprinkle right into nostrils, which are sunnah in wudu, are fard in ghusl.

6 – To overemphasize while production mazmaza and istinshaq…

That’s, to take the sprinkle in the mouth to the throat and the sprinkle in the nostrils up to the hard component of the nose. Exaggeration isn’t concerned for an individual that is not eating because the sprinkle might decrease from the throat.

7 – To earn wudu in the necessary purchase…

That’s, to wash the face and after that the arms; to clean the head with a damp hand and after that to wash the feet. If the purchase over isn’t observed, wudu is legitimate but it means to desert the sunnah.

Inning accordance with Shafiis and Hanbalis, it’s fard to earn wudu in the necessary purchase.

8 – To begin cleaning on the right… This sunnah is for the double body organs.

9 – To wash 3 times… That’s, to wash each body organ 3 times with 3 separate waters. The first cleaning is fard; the others are sunnah.

10 – To begin cleaning the hands from the tips of the fingers and the feet from the tips of the toes…

11 – To scmassage in between the fingers and the toes while cleaning the hands and the feet.

12 – After cleaning the face 3 times, to wash amongst the hairs of the beard with a handful of sprinkle by placing the fingers amongst the hairs of the beard beginning from all-time low of the beard upward.

13 – To clean the entire head with damp hands. It’s called complete masah. Both hands are wetted. After that the little, ring and center fingers of both hands are connected; they are put on the front component of the head with fingertips touching each various other. After that, they are removaled beginning from the front component of the head to the neck by cleaning the head. After that, the hands of the hands are put on both sides of the head and removaled beginning from the neck to the front component of the head by cleaning the head. Thus, complete masah is performed.

14 – To clean the ears…

Separate sprinkle isn’t necessary for the ears. The dampness of the hand that is used to clean the head can be used to clean the ears too. The external and the back component of the ears are wiped by the thumbs and the internal side by the index fingers. The little fingers are put right into the ear and removaled.

* Inning accordance with Hanbalis, it’s fard to clean the internal components of the ears because they regard the ears as the component of the head.

* Inning accordance with Shafiis, it’s sunnah to clean the head 3 times.

15 – To clean the back component of the neck by the rear of the hands… The front component of the neck isn’t wiped. The back component of the neck is wiped by the dampness at the rear of the hand without wetting the hand again.

16 – To scmassage the body organs of wudu as sprinkle is soaked them…

17 – To wash the body organs of wudu without disruption. That’s, to wash one body organ without waiting on another body organ to dry. (It’s called “wila” or “muwalat”.)
