Quran About Carcasses and Blood That Can be Eaten by Muslim

The Quran about carcasses and blood that can be eaten by Muslim that I mean is as follows:

He has only forbidden you what dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that over which any other (name) than (that of) Allah has been invoked; but whoever is driven to necessity, not desiring, nor exceeding the limit, no sin shall be upon him; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (Al-Baqarah [2]; 173).

Forbidden to you is that which dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that on which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked, and the strangled (animal) and that beaten to death, and that killed by a fall and that killed by being smitten with the horn, and that which wild beasts have eaten, except what you slaughter, and what is sacrificed on stones set up (for idols) and that you divide by the arrows; that is a transgression. This day have those who disbelieve despaired of your religion, so fear them not, and fear Me. This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion; but whoever is compelled by hunger, not inclining willfully to sin, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (l-Maa’idah [5]; 3).

He has only forbidden you what dies of itself and blood and flesh of swine and that over which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked, but whoever is driven to necessity, not desiring nor exceeding the limit, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (An-Nahl [16]; 115).

But even though there are several verses of the Quran that explain the carelessness of carcasses and blood, as I said above, there is a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam which excludes the ban.

Hadith About Carcasses and Blood That Can be Eaten by Muslim

The hadith about carcasses and blood that can be eaten by Muslim that I mean is as follows:

From Ibn Umar radliyallahu anhuma, he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, "It has been lawful for us two carcasses and two bloods. The two carcasses are carcasses of locusts and fish. While the two blood are the liver and spleen." The hadith is narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Majah.

There are several things that can be understood from the hadith above, among others;

  1. All carcasses should not be eaten except only carcasses and carcasses of grasshoppers. There are some differences of opinion among experts on Islamic law about it. Ash-Shafi'I and Abu Hanifah said, "The carcass of a locust may be eaten in whatever condition it is found; either it dies by itself or because of human intervention. "Whereas Malik and Ahmad said," If the grasshopper dies because of human intervention, for example because it is cut or cooked, then it can be eaten. But if it dies by itself, then it should not be. "As for the fish carcass, if the fish dies because of human intervention, for example because it is cut, then it can be eaten. But if the tie dies in floating conditions, it should not be eaten. This is the opinion of the majority of legal experts. Ash-Shafi'I, he said, that the fish carcass could be eaten, whether it died from human intervention or died in floating conditions. "
  2. All the blood should not be eaten except only the liver and spleen.
