Hi all readers! In this article, I will explain one thing related to burying Janazah (funeral). We certainly know that everyone who dies has a family that loves him/her. Sometimes these affections make a person want a person who has died not to be buried immediately. The reason is simple, that they will not meet again until the Day of Judgment. The question is, should burying Janazah be done quickly or slowly?
As usual, before I answer the question above, I will quote a hadith that is specifically related to our discussion.

Hadith About Burying Janazah (Funeral)
The hadith about burying Janazah (funeral) that I mean is as follows;
عَنْ أَبِيْ هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ؛ أَسْرِعُوْا بِالْجَنَازَةِ فَإِنْ تَكُ صَالِحَةً فَخَيْرٌ تُقَدِّمُوْنَهَا إِلَيْهِ ، وَإِنْ تَكُ سِوَى ذَلِكَ فَشَرٌّ تَضَعُوْنَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu ‘anhu, from the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, he said, “Hurry and bury the Janazah. If the Janazah is good, then that means you speed up the Janazah for good. If the Janazah is not good, then that means you accelerate the loss of evil from your shoulders.” The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
There are some important things related to the above hadith that we need to know;
One; The hadith explains about the suggestion that we rush to bury Janazah. But what we need to understand is that we must not bury Janazah too fast and we must not bury Janzah too late. So, the ideal tempo is the tempo between fast and slow.
Two; The hadith explains that rushing to bury the body is for the good of all parties, as the hadith explained above.

Three; What we need to understand is, that if someone dies due to paralysis or a heart attack and so on, so that person must be examined by a doctor, then a medical examination should take precedence over rushing to bury him/her.
Four; The hadith explains, that we are encouraged not to associate with bad people because there is no any good that we will get from them.
