The hadith about the best prayer when we bury janazah (funeral) that I mean is as follows;
عَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ؛ إِذَا وَضَعْتُمْ مَوْتَاكُمْ فِيْ الْقُبُوْرِ فَقُوْلُوْا ؛ بِسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . أَخْرَجَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُوْ دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ
From Ibn Abbas radliyallahu ‘anhuma, from the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. He (Prophet Muhammad) said, “If you put a person who has died in the grave, then say, “In the name of Allah and on the religion of Allah’s Messenger shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.” The hadith is narrated by Ahmad, Abu Daud, and an -Nasai.
There are some important things about the above hadith that we need to know;
One: The hadith explains that we are encouraged to read the prayer when we put janazah (funeral) in the grave.
