The Body of Muslim Women in Prayer That Must be Closed

Guidelines Islamic Law: The Body of Muslim Women in Prayer That Must be Closed ~ Hi all readers! In this article I will explain about the body that Muslim women must cover when she is praying. You need to know, that the majority of Islamic law experts make a difference between the body that Muslim men and Muslim women must cover when they are praying. Especially for all male Muslims, they must cover the body between the navel and the knee. That is their nakedness. But what about Muslim women? Does she have to cover the same body as Muslim men?

As always, before I explain further, I will quote the hadith which is specifically related to our discussion. The hadith that I mean is as follows;

From Aisha radliyallaahu anhaa, that Prophet (Muhammad) sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said, “Allah does not accept adult female prayers except she wears khimar (head and neck coverings).” The hadith is narrated by five people except an-Nasai (Ahmad, Abu Daud, at-Tirmidzi, Ibn Majah).
