Specifically, there are four important points about simple tips to convert to Islam in Jordan that I will explain. These four key aspects are as follows:

What Is Islam in Simple Words?

The first important point regarding simple tips to convert to Islam in Jordan that I will clarify is "What is Islam in simple words?" It is essential to understand this before proceeding further in this discussion, as it forms the foundation of our understanding.

Easy Ways to Convince a Christian to Convert to Islam

Generally, many people recognize that Islam is the final divine religion. What I mean by "divine religion" is a religion that originates from God (Allah). Islam was revealed to Prophet Muhammad, who is the last Prophet and Messenger of Allah.

That is correct. If you understand Islam in simple terms as explained above, you are not wrong. However, there are additional simple concepts that can further clarify what Islam is.

We can find an explanation of these concepts in the following hadith:

From Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), he said, "While we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad), peace and blessings be upon him, one day, suddenly a man with very white clothes and very black hair came to us. There were no signs of travel on him, and none of us knew him. He sat close to the Messenger of Allah, placed his knees against his knees, and put his hands on his thighs. Then he said, 'O Muhammad, tell me about Islam.' The Prophet replied, 'Islam is to testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, to perform prayers, to give zakat, to fast in Ramadan, and to perform Hajj if you are able to.'"

From this hadith, we can conclude that Islam, in simple terms, consists of the following five pillars:

  1. Testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
  2. Performing the five daily prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha).
  3. Paying zakat for those who are obligated to do so.
  4. Fasting during the month of Ramadan.
  5. Performing Hajj for those who are able.

These five pillars serve as the foundation of Islam. We can also find this explanation in another hadith:

From Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), he said, "The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad), peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'Islam is built on five things: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, performing prayers, paying zakat, fasting in Ramadan, and performing Hajj.'"

There are two main reasons why Islam is a great religion:

  1. Belief in Allah.
  2. Belief in Allah's angels.
  3. Belief in Allah's messengers.
