Short Hadith About Getting Married

The first important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will clarify presently is "Short hadith about getting married". I want you to understand that first before you read more hadiths in this article because it's the basis for this conversation that must be well comprehended.

There are many hadiths about getting married. Of course, I'm not going to discuss all of it now. In this article, I will just clarify 2 hadiths.

The two hadiths about getting married are as follows:

From Ibn Mas'ud radliyallahu anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to us, "O young people, anyone of you who can make love, then he must get married. Indeed it (marriage) is better able to keep eye sight and better able to maintain vital organs. Anyone who can't, then he must fast because it actually suppresses the desire to have sex."

Allah's Messenger (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, "There's no building in Islam that is more precious to Allah than marriage."

My friends! If we understand the two hadiths above, we can conclude that marriage is among the sunnahs in Islam. Consequently, Muslims who are able to marry are strongly encouraged to marry.

That is a brief explanation of "Short hadith about getting married". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Zawaj Misyar

The second important point about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will explain presently is "Short hadith about Zawaj Misyar". I want you to understand that currently because Misyar is among the important conversations in Islamic legal literacy regarding marriage.

The hadith about Zawaj Misyar that I suggest is as follows:

From Aisha radliyallahu anha, she said, “Whenever Allah's Apostle intended to go on a journey, he used to draw lots among his wives and would take with him the one on whom the lot fell. He also used to fix for everyone of his wives a day and a night, but Saudah bint Zam’ah gave her day and night to Aisha, the wife of the Prophet intending thereby to please Allah's Messenger.”

Ladies and gentlemen! If we understand the hadith over, we can conclude that Zawaj Misyar is permissible in Islam. The factor is because all the problems and columns of marriage have been fulfilled in the Zawaj Misyar. On top of that, the wife is sincere if the husband does not give her some of her rights.

That is a quick information of "Short hadith about Zawaj Misyar". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Temporary Marriage

The third important point about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will clarify now is "Short hadith about temporary marriage". I want you to understand that presently because there are many various viewpoints about temporary marriage in Islamic legal literacy. So, I want you to understand that very well.

The hadith about temporary marriage that I mean is as complies with:

From Salamah ibn al-Akwa' radliyallahu anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam permitted (temporary marriage) Muta marriage for three days in the year of the Authas war. Then he forbade it." The hadith is narrated by Muslim.

Readers! If we understand the hadith above, we can conclude that temporary marriage was allowed in Islamic history and after that temporary marriage was prohibited. In other words, Muslims are not enabled to perform temporary marriage.

That's a short description of "Short hadith about temporary marriage". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Zawaj Syighar

The fourth important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will explain now is "Short hadith about Zawaj Syighar". I want you to understand that now because there are many Muslims who do not understand Zawaj Syighar very well.

The hadith about Zawaj Syighar is as complies with:

From Nafi’ from Ibn Umar radliyallahu anhuma, he (Ibn Umar) said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has forbidden the Zawaj Syighar."

Readers! If we understand the hadith above, we can conclude that Zawaj Syighar is forbidden in Islam. So, Zawaj Syighar is one kind of marriage that's forbidden. Muslims are not enabled to do that.

That is a quick explanation of "Short hadith about Zawaj Syighar". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Marriage Dowry

The fifth important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will discuss presently is "Short hadith about marriage dowry". I want you to understand that now because dowry is one of the crucial points in marriage.

The hadith about marriage dowry is as adheres to:

From Uqbah bin Amir radliyallahu anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "The best dowry is the easiest." (meaning: the best dowry is the one that does not trouble men).

Readers! If we understand the hadith above, we can conclude that a good dowry is one that does not burden the bridegroom. So, the women should not request for too much dowry.

That is a short explanation of "Short hadith marriage dowry". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Best Marriage

The sixth important point about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will discuss presently is "Short hadith about best marriage". I want you to understand that presently because there are many Muslims who do not understand the best marriage in Islam.

The hadith about best marriage is as follows:

From Uqbah bin Amir radliyallahu anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, "The best marriage is the one that is easiest (not burdensome to those who are getting married)."

Ladies and gentlemen! If we understand the hadith above, we can conclude that a good marriage is one that does not concern the bridegroom. So, the bride may not request for too many dowry and a wedding party that the bridegroom cannot afford.

That is a quick explanation of "Short hadith about best marriage". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Marriage Divorce in Anger

The seventh important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will discuss now is "Short hadith about marriage divorce in anger". I want you to understand that presently because there's an unique discussion about Talaq in anger that we need to understand.

As for hadith about marriage divorce in anger, what I mean is as follows:

From Aisha radliyallahu anha, that the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "There is no talaq and freeing (freeing slaves) in a closed state."

From Abu Hurairah, from and the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, "Every divorce (given by the husband) is valid, except the divorce (given by the husband) which is closed in his mind." The hadith was narrated by at-Turmudhi and al-Bukhari.

My friends! If we read the hadith above, we can conclude that Talaq is permissible in Islam. But Talaq should not be carried out in anger. In various other words, if the the angry husband divorces his wife so he cannot understand what he is saying, then his Talaq is void.

That's a quick description of "Short hadith about marriage divorce in anger". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Marriage Secrets Between Husband and Wife

The eighth important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will explain now is "Short hadith about marriage secrets between husband and wife". I want you to understand that now because it's among the important points that Muslim guys and Muslim females who are married must understand.

The hadith about marriage secrets between husband and wife are as complies with:

Abu Said al-Khudri radliyallahu anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, "Surely the person who gets the most terrible torture on the Day of Judgment is a man who associates with his wife and his wife associates with him, then he spread her secrets.” The hadith is narrated by Muslim.

Also, from him (Abu Said al-Khudri), "The real one of the most treacherous in the sight of Allah on the Day of Judgment is, the man who associates with his wife and his wife associates with him, then he spreads her secrets.”

Ladies and gentlemen! If we understand both hadiths over, we can conclude that a husband and a wife should not share the secret of their marriage with each other. In various other words, both of them needed to maintain their secrets from each various other.

That's a brief information of "Short hadith about marriage secrets between husband and wife". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Intercourse Marriage

The nine important point about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will clarify presently is "Short hadith about intercourse marriage". I want you to understand that currently because there are some Muslim women who do not understand the duty of a wife to her husband or the obligation to serve her husband.

As for the hadith about intercourse marriage, what I mean is as complies with:

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, from the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, "If at night there is a wife who refuses to sleep with her husband (refuses to have sex), then the angels will curse her until morning."

From Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said, "If someone invites his wife to bed (having sex), then she refuses, then the angels will curse her until morning."

In another narration, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "By God, my soul is in His power, it is not a husband who invites his wife to bed (having sex) then she refuses, except creatures in the sky will curse her until her husband is pleased."

If we understand some of the hadiths above, we can conclude that a wife must be dedicated to her husband unless the husband orders her to do things that are banned in Islam.

That's a quick explanation of "Short hadith about intercourse marriage". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Righteous Wife

The tenth important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will discuss currently is "Short hadith about righteous wife". I want you to understand that today because it's among the important discussions about marriage in Islamic Islamic legal literacy.

As for hadith about righteous wife what I imply is as follows:

From Abu Umamah al-Bahili radliyallahu anhu, from the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, that he said, “Nothing is of more benefit to the believer after Taqwa of Allah than a righteous wife whom, if he commands her she obeys him, if he looks at her, he is pleased, if he swears an oath concerning her she fulfills it, and when he is away from her she is sincere towards him with regard to herself and his wealth.”

From Abdullah bin Amru radliyallahu anhuma, that the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “Indeed the world is jewelry. There is no worldly jewelery that is more noble than a righteous wife (shalihah wife)."

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, he said, "The best wife is a woman if you see her, then she will make you happy, if you order her, then she obeys you, and if you leave her, then she takes care of your property and herself."

My friends! If we understand some of the hadiths above, we can conclude the following:

  • A righteous wife (shalihah wife) is the most important jewelry on the planet.
  • Having actually a righteous wife (shalihah wife) is one of the lot of moneys.
  • A righteous wife (shalihah wife) is a wife who obeys Allah, the Messenger of her hubby, and Allah.

4: a righteous wife (shalihah wife) is a wife who, if her husband sees her, then her hubby will rejoice, if her hubby orders her, then she will comply with him, if her hubby leaves her, then she will care for herself and her husband's property.

That is a short description of "Short hadith about righteous wife". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Proposal of Marriage

The eleventh important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will discuss today is "Short hadith about proposal of marriage". I want you to understand that presently because a proposal of marriage is among the important things in marriage in Islam that must be recognized properly.

The hadith about proposal of marriage that I imply is as adheres to:

Allah's Messenger sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, "Indeed, what is a blessing for women is easy to propose, easy dowry, and easy womb."

From Ali bin Abi Talib radliyallahu anhu, he said, "I have married Fatimah radliyallahu anha. I then said, "O Messenger of Allah, "Let me live in the same house with her." He said, "Give her something as dowry." I said, "I have nothing." He said, "Where is your armor that is heavy and can break a sword?". I replied, "Here." He said, “Give it to her.”

The Messenger of Allah said: "When someone whose religion and character you are pleased with proposes to (someone under the care) of one of you, then marry to him. If you do not do so, then there will be turmoil (Fitnah) in the land and abounding discord (Fasad)."

Readers! If we understand some of the hadiths above, we can conclude the following:

  • One of the true blessings for a lady isn't asking for odd things when she is asked to marry.
  • For parents who have daughters, if a male of good religious beliefs and ethics comes to propose, they are highly encouraged to accept the proposal and marry him to their daughters.

That is a short description of "Short hadith about proposal of marriage". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About 4 Wives

The twelfth important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will clarify now is "Short hadith about 4 wives". I want you to understand that currently because 4 wives is among the important conversations in Islamic regulation that must be understood properly.

The hadith about 4 wives that I mean is as follows:

From Said bin Jubair radliyallahu anhu, he said, "Ibn Abbas said to me, "Are you married?" I replied, "No." He then said, “Marry! Indeed, the best men in this Ummah are those who have the most wives.”

Readers! If we understand the hadith above, we can conclude several points as follows:

  • 4 wives is something that's permissible in Islam for Muslims who are able to do so.
  • Among the indications that a good Muslim man is one who has many wives.

That's a quick description of "Short hadith about 4 wives". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Marriage Prayer

The thirteenth important point about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will explain currently is "Short hadith about marriage prayer". I want you to understand that currently because marriage prayer is among the important things in marriage that must be comprehended properly.

The hadith about marriage prayer is as complies with:

From Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam congratulated a man on his marriage, he said: May Allah bless for you, and may He bless on you, and combine both of you in good (works).

The over hadith explains the prayer of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam for the bridegroom and bride. We can read the prayer for a couple who are married.

That is a quick information of "Short hadith about marriage prayer". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Simple Harmony in Marriage

The fourteenth important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will describe presently is "Short hadith about simple harmony in marriage". I want you to understand that currently because harmony in marriage is one of the important things in every marriage.

The hadith about simple harmony in marriage is as adheres to:

Allah's Messenger sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “May Allah have mercy on a man who wakes up at night, then he performs the night prayer, then he wakes up his wife, then she prays with her. If she doesn't want to get up, then she splashes water on her face. May Allah have mercy on a woman who wakes up at night, then she performs the night prayer, both she wakes up her husband, then he prays with her. If he doesn't want to get up, then she splashes water on his face."

The hadith above defines one example of simple harmony in marriage in Islam. We can do that in a simple way.

The hadith about marriage half of religion, what I suggest is as adheres to:

From Anas radliyallahu anhu, that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever is given sustenance by Allah in the form of a righteous wife (shalihah wife), Allah has helped him to maintain half of his religion. So, let him fear Allah to guard the other side."

The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “If a servant is married, then half of his religion is complete. So, let him fear Allah to guard the other half of his religion."

Some of the hadiths over describe that marriage can complete half of the Muslim faith. That's why Muslims are recommended to obtain married and ask Allah for help to perfect the various other half.

As for the hadith about choosing a wife, what I suggest is as follows:

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, from the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, he said, “Women are married for four reasons: because of her wealth, because of her lineage, because of her beauty, and because of her religion. Prioritize women whose religion is good then you will be lucky."

The over hadith explains 4 basic reasons women marry: because of her wide range, her family tree, her her religion, and beauty. Muslims are encouraged to give priority to women whose faith is good for them to marry.

That is a short explanation of "Short hadith about choosing a wife". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Marriage Sunnah

The seventeenth important point about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will describe now is "Short hadith about marriage sunnah". I want you to understand that presently because it's among the important hadiths about marriage laws in Islam.

The hadith about marriage sunnah, what I mean is as adheres to:

That's a brief information of "Short hadith about marriage sunnah". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Short Hadith About Marrying a Virgin

The eighteenth important thing about "Short Hadith About Proposing to a Virgin and a Widow For Marriage" that I will describe now is "Short hadith about marrying a virgin". I want you to understand that today because it is one of the questions some Muslims often ask.

As for the hadith about marrying a virgin what I imply is as follows:

From Jabir bin Abdillah radliyallahu anhuma, he said, “I married during the time of the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. I then met the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. He then asked, "Are you married?" I replied, "Yes." He then asked, "Virgin or widow?" I replied, "Widow." He asked, "Why don't you marry a virgin so you can play with her?". I replied, “O Allah's Messenger! Actually, I have several sisters. I'm afraid he's getting in between me and them.” He said, "Yes. It's like that. Indeed, women are married because of their religion, wealth, and beauty. You have to give priority to women whose religion is good so that you are lucky.”

The hadith above explains that Muslims are encouraged to choose virgin ladies to marry because it can make them have enjoyable. But one thing you need to keep in mind, that the hadith above doesn't mean forbidding Muslims to marry widows. Marrying a widow is also one of the good points in Islam. Also the most of ladies married to the Prophet Muhammad were widows.

From Anas radliyallahu anhu, he said, "What is included in the Sunnah is if a man who already has a wife marries a girl, then he should stay with his new wife for seven days and then he divides his turn (with another wife). If he marries a widow, then let him stay with his new wife for three days."

My friends! The hadith over explains that if a Muslim man who has a wife weds a virgin, then he is recommended to remain with his new wife for 7 days first and after that split the shifts for various other wives. But if a Muslim man who has a wife weds a widow, then he is encouraged to remain with his new wife for 3 days first and then share the shifts in between the various other wives.

That is a short explanation of "Short hadith about marrying a widow". As Muslims, we must understand that.

Allah's Messenger sallallahu alaihi wa sallah said, "Any female who marries without the permission of her wali, then her marriage is invalid, then her marriage is invalid. If her husband has had sex with her, then she is entitled to dowry. If her family. If they have differences of opinion that cannot be resolved, then the judge becomes the wali of someone who does not have a wali."

Readers! If we understand the hadith above, we can conclude several things as complies with:

  • If a woman marries without the approval of her wali, then her marriage is invalid.

They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how is her permission (a virgin)?" He replied, "If she is silent."
