The first important thing about “how to please husband in Islam?” what I will explain here is the meaning of pleasing husband in Islam. I want you to understand that before you read any further explanation in this article. Also, I want you to understand that not everything Muslim women can do to please their husbands. This is one of husband and wife relationship in bed in islam.
In general, we can understand the phrase "pleasing husband in Islam" as things Muslim women do to please their husbands. The word "Islam" in the sentence is the standard to distinguish the things they are allowed to do and the things they are not allowed to do to please their husbands.
So, we can conclude that there are some things that can be done and some things that should not be done to please husband in Islam. I will explain all of that in the next discussion.
Why Is Pleasing Husband Important in Islam?
The second important point about “how to please husband in Islam?” What I will explain here is "why is pleasing your husband important in Islam?". I want you to understand that so that you have a complete understanding, and so that you believe that pleasing your husband is something important in Islam.
In fact, the reason why pleasing husband is important in Islam is one that needs no further explanation. In marriage, a husband must please his wife, and a wife must please her husband. The goal was that there would be harmony in their lives, and that their marriage would last until death do them part. I think we understand that. So, I won't explain much about it here.
Guide to Pleasing Husbands in Islam
The third important point about “how to please husband in Islam?” what I will explain here is a guide to please husband in Islam. Actually, as far as I know, I haven't found a specific explanation of what a wife should do to please her husband in the Quran and hadith. The opinions of Islamic scholars about it are their understandings of the verses of the Quran and hadith that explain the characteristics of good women in Islam.
So, I will quote Quranic verses and hadiths that explain the characteristics of good women according to Islam. After that, I will conclude about the things a wife should do to please her husband in Islam.
Quran About Good Wives in Islam
As for the Quran about good wife in Islam that I mean is as follows:
فَالصَّالِحَاتُ قَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللهُ
…then good women are women who obey Allah and take care of themselves when all of them are gone, therefore Allah takes care of them… (An-Nisa: 34).
All readers! If we understand the Quranic verse above, then we can conclude that a good wife in Islam is a wife who is obedient to Allah and takes care of herself when her husband is away. That is a general explanation of the characteristics of a good wife in Islam.
Hadith About Good Wives in Islam
As for the hadith about good wife in Islam that I mean is as follows:
From Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "The best wife is a woman who when you see her, then she makes you happy. If you order her, then she obeys you, if you are far from her, then she takes care of your property and herself.
One important point that I would like to make clear here, is that there is no important difference between the descriptions of wife characteristics in both the Quran and the hadith. What is explained in the Quran about the characteristics of a good woman is a general explanation of it, whereas what is explained in the hadith is a more specific explanation of it.
Things You Can Do to Please Husband in Islam
Now I will explain what a Muslim woman can do to please her husband in Islam. If we understand some of the brief explanations above, then we can conclude some important things as follows:
- Dress up so that the husband is happy when he sees her.
- Smile in front of the husband.
- Provide all the husband's primary needs.
- Do not refuse the husband's good request.
- Do not argue with the husband's words.
- Take care of herself when her husband is not beside her.
- Guarding the husband's property when the husband is not at home, and so on.
These are some of the things that Muslim women can do to please their husbands.
Things Not to Do to Please Husband in Islam
Now I will explain the things that should not be done to please the husband in Islam. In the previous few paragraphs, I have explained that there are some things that should not be done to please the husband in Islam. Some of the things that should not be done are things that are contrary to Islamic laws. What this means is that if a husband orders his wife not to perform the obligatory prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha), or so that the wife gets drunk, steals, hits someone, then the wife is not allowed to do it all even though it will make her husband happy.
So, things that should not be done to please the husband in Islam are things that are contrary to Islamic law. We can find this explanation in the following hadiths:
لَا طَاعَةَ لِمَخْلُوْقٍ فِيْ مَعْصِيَةِ الْخَالِقِ
There is no obedience to creatures to disobey God the Creator (Allah).
إِنَّمَا الطَّاعَةُ فِيْ الْمَعْرُوْفِ
Verily obedience is only in good things.
