From Ibn Umar radliyallahu anhuma, he said, "I have heard the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam say, "Whoever keeps a dog, except hunting dogs and dogs for guarding livestock, then his reward is reduced by two Qirath every day." This hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim. In one of the narrations it is described: one Qirath.

From Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu, he said, "The Messenger of Allah said, "The way to purify your container if it has been licked by a dog is to wash it with water up to seven times. The first wash with dust." This hadith was narrated by Muslim. In another editorial which is also narrated by Muslim there is an additional editorial of the hadith, "Let him throw away the contents." As for the history of at-Tirmidhi, "The last using dust."
